Rooms are very spacious and extremely clean.Lots to do at the resort.Food is amazing. Kalahari vs. Camelback - Review of Kalahari Resorts - Tripadvisor We loved Camelback in the winter so we had to come back to experience Camelbeach this summer! Bunk bed room at Camelback was larger and more comfortable, with two full-sized bunk beds rather than one small bunk at Kalahari. The glass ceiling added lots of nice light and warmth to the wave pool and center play structure areas. For a resort who caters to families and children, they had no explanation why at 6pm they had a lobby full of cranky parents and children, especially my 2 year old crying she wanted a nap and didn't understand why she couldn't have one. Call ahead to make your reservation. We were told to wait there and they would send someone. As if all that wasn't bad enough, when we went to get out bands fixed, we were told we had a $65 balance for the safari package which they were charging our card. It was our daughters birthday, perhaps we just had a bad experience.. but we will not be returning. They found the slides to be similar but the lines much longer at Kalahari. Outside visitors are permitted to purchase day passes, which ranges from $39 to $49 depending on the time of day the pass is purchased. The common areas and bathrooms were well maintained. Games, ride on, laser tag, escape room, golf etc. Within the last two decades, the Pocono Mountains have added three large Poconos water park resorts to this area known for its ski runs in the winter and boat launches in the summer. Also laser tag, mini glow golf and mini bowling. It's not a huge park so you can get on everything a couple times without the hassle of a line! With over 37 slides, rides, and attractions, Camelbeach is the biggest waterpark in Pennsylvania! It was our daughters birthday, perhaps we just had a bad experience.. but we will not be returning. We look forward to seeing you splashing around throughout the waterpark next summer. It's going to be an unforgettable summer as we celebrate 25 years of Camelbeach. There were dirty qtips and garbage on the floors when we stepped out of the elevator. The air and water temperature consistently felt chilly unless you were in direct sunlight. Check in at 4 turned into 5 which turned in to 6pm. The wave pool is smaller then Camelback but still good. The other two are straight slides. To this end, Branson says he has made sure that Virgin prioritizes employees first, customers second and shareholders third. Kalahari's outdoor water park is much smaller then Camelbacks and was closed due to the cold weather. The bath tubs much larger then Camelback. We prefer the option of receiving game coupons be done electronically like Dave and Busters but they only come out manually (if you win a lot of tickets on a game it takes forever to come out). She's asleep now and is still coughing from all the water she breathed in this morning. Arcade was much larger at Kalahari. The lights make it look really cool and the slides/rides feel totally different in the dark. There is a second phase of the resort that is under construction that will add additional indoor waterpark space, guestrooms, and outdoor waterpark space. Splash On!
